Growing to full-size in just 60 to 80 days, 'Heshiko' is a great scallion variety for everyday use. It produces tender leaves with white 12-14" stalks. The base of this onion has delicious, white, pungent flesh. Though typically grown as an annual, this species is a perennial and this variety will over-winter across most of the US south of the northernmost tier.
