The Renick Yellow Watermelon is a distinctive heirloom variety known for its sweet yellow flesh and flavorful rind. The Renick Yellow Watermelon offers a unique addition to gardens, providing a delightful alternative to traditional red-fleshed varieties. Originating from the Renick Family of Ashville, Ohio, this variety was introduced in 2020 by Southern Exposure Seed Exchange (SESE).

Key Characteristics: Produces small melons, making them manageable for both home gardeners and market growers. The yellow flesh is notably sweet, and the rind is reported to be tastier than those of most other watermelon varieties. Known for high productivity, offering abundant harvests under suitable growing conditions.

Cultivation Notes: Thrives in warm climates with plenty of sunlight. Prefers well-drained, fertile soils. Adequate spacing is essential to accommodate the vine's growth habit. Consistent watering is crucial, especially during fruit development.
